Brandywine Course Details

Steeped in the picturesque, Midwestern scenery of Northern Ohio is the Brandywine Country Club Golf Course; featuring 18 holes of Arthur Hills design Championship Golf. No matter how much experience you have, you will enjoy golf at Brandywine Country Club.

After months of going through the approval and zoning process the sale to the Andersons is officially closed. What currently encompasses holes 2 through 8 of the Championship Golf Course will legally become the property of “The Andersons”. The site will be developed for their new Corporate Headquarters of which construction will begin immediately. With this announcement ultimately comes the news that the current Championship holes 2 through 8 will no longer be available for us to play golf on. This is effective at the end of the day on Wednesday, April 29, 2015.

We received the authorization to delay the renovation of the west course until September 2015. This is good news which I hope that most of the members will concur with. This will allow us to play 18 holes through the summer and of course have our club tournaments as well. The decision has a much better upside than to begin in a few weeks. The opportunity to take our time and plant new sod in the fall is a real plus.

A special thank you to Tod Burhans for arranging the “new summer” golf course to be rated and sloped. The new golf course is a Par 70.

Thanks again to all of you for your encouragement and show of support. Let’s have a great summer of golf!!
